Yes, CMA is equivalent to any international degree and  is globally  recognized .

The ICMA was not formed as a body for members to apply for immigration to Australia. Instead, it was set up for already qualified accountants (CAs, CPAs, CIMA, ACCA etc.) to obtain post-graduate level specialisation in managerial accounting. As such, the institute does not enter into correspondence as to if CMA is a recognised qualification for purposes of migration requirements to Australia. It is aware, however, that some CMAs have obtained migration to Australia on a case-by-case basis.

The Australian government has appointed three migration assessment authorities for the accounting profession. The ICMA has had extensive correspondence with one of the bodies, Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and has been assured in writing that any CMA with a degree accounting will be eligible to apply for migration assessment via CAANZ.

Please note that the ICMA’s Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credential has been assessed for equivalency on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) at the Level 9 (Master’s Degree) by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). Please refer to this when submitting your migration assessment application to CAANZ.

A CMA degree provides certification to work with international clients. The chances of getting a job in a multinational company increase however again it depends on the person’s objective to join CMA.

If you have more than 5 years of work experience with an MBA degree or 10 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or a certified Accountant of any accounting regulatory body, you are eligible to join the course.

Anyone with a background in accounting, finance, or business, typically with a bachelor's degree in these fieldscan pursue the CPA. International candidates, including those from Nepal, can also become CPAs by meeting the eligibility criteria set by U.S. State Boards.

Job prospects are excellent. CPAs are in high demand globally—especially in the U.S., Canada, Middle East, India, and Australia. Many graduates land roles in the Big 4 or top MNCs, with entry-level U.S. salaries starting at $60,000+.

CPAs often progress to leadership roles like Financial Analyst, Controller, or CFO.

Our team offers placement assistance services (available for a fee) and have a 100% placement track record for students who successfully complete their CPA through our pathway.

No, you don’t need to have IELTS or TOEFL, however, you might be required to get a Medium of Instruction letter, which states that the medium of instruction during your undergraduate course was English. The MOI letter needs to be issued by the university. Although if possible, it could make the visa processing easier.
